  • Tracking Black Bear

    I took this photo of a very fresh track of a small bear on a rainy morning in the Jocassee Gorges, in the mountain range on the SC/NC line. You can see the claw marks above the paw prints. Nearby was a pile of skat that was so fresh it was steaming...but I'll spare you that photo.
