Dear Hunter's Campfire Readers:
I am often asked why Hunter's Campfire was created. So here you go:
First, I created this site to provide hunting advice to folks who (like myself) struggle to find time to hone their expertise. For that reason, I wanted any advice given on this site to come from guys who really know what they are talking about. That's why it's loaded with useful tips from true hunting experts, designed to help everyday hunters have more successful, safe, and enjoyable hunting experiences.
Second, it is a community where robust hunting discussions take place. The idea is to swap tips as easily as we swap tales; to share what we've learned; debate what works and what doesn't; and enjoy the story about that big buck -- just like we would around a campfire, hence our name.
Finally, I created Hunter's Campfire with the deep and abiding hope of sustaining the great wilderness and wildlife so that our children and grandchildren can enjoy God's wonderful creation the same way we have -- through the matchless pursuit of hunting.
So stoke the fire and come sit a while! Share your pictures and stories; enjoy the same from fellow-hunters; learn to be a better hunter. And - most of all - let your friends at Hunter’s Campfire become your hunting family!
Sincerely,
Larry Huff
